The IIHS awarded the 2019 Ford Escape with Good scores in four out of five crash tests. Other safety ratings for the Ford Escape from the NHTSA provided a five out of five stars overall rating.

Safety Ratings

The 2019 Toyota RAV4 received Good ratings in all the crash tests performed by the IIHS. This Toyota SUV was awarded five stars from the NHTSA as well. Neither SUVs have any recalls reported as of May 2019.
